I am Magdalene, a visual artist and photographer.
A Passionate Photographer Inspired by Love and Greece
Since 2009, I have been dedicated to documentary wedding photography, blending artistry with authenticity. As a visual artist and mother of three, my approach is shaped by both creativity and life experience, capturing genuine emotions and timeless moments.
My Journey and Achievements
With a BA in Fine Arts from WCA, University of the Arts London, and an MA in Digital Arts from London Guildhall University, my work has earned accolades like the Adobe Award and a BBC distinction. Featured in Grace Ormonde Wedding Style magazine, I have also photographed Madam Shoushou’s collection and participated in the Outnet photo session.
My Approach to Photography
Specializing in destination weddings in Greece, I focus on delivering a seamless and meaningful experience for my clients. From the start, I prioritize building a genuine connection with each couple. I invest time in understanding their story, preferences, and vision for their wedding day. This allows me to tailor the photography experience to their needs and authentically capture their relationship. My goal is to ensure couples feel comfortable, confident, and fully present throughout the entire process.
Greece as My Inspiration
Born in Athens and with family roots across the Cyclades and Dodecanese islands—including Naxos, Sifnos, Amorgos, Rhodes, Symi, and Samos, and 25 summers on Lemnos—I bring a deep knowledge of Greece’s diverse landscapes, venues, and cultural nuances. Specializing in destination weddings in Greece, I prioritize a seamless, meaningful experience for couples, ensuring they feel comfortable and present. To me, the Greek islands are more than a destination—they are a feeling, inspiring images that are as timeless as the settings themselves.
“The little joys that inspire me & fill my heart”
I love: giving hugs and spending time with my kids; Greek island hopping; exploring new cultures; film, art and music festivals; abstract expressionism, experimental music, sci-fi movies; summer, warm sun on my face, reading books on the beach, the weightlessness and the silence underwater; the sound of the wind, the odor of jasmine, minimalism and Cycladic architecture; cats, my collection of kimonos, sushi, peanut butter, poached egg on avocado toast, yoga, meditation; painting and teaching art to kids; life, big smiles and positive thinkers; and I feel grateful for capturing high vibes.
What Makes Me Different as a Wedding Photographer
Your wedding is more than just a day—it’s a story, a feeling, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. As a documentary wedding photographer and a visual artist, I bring an artistic perspective to every moment, capturing emotions, movement, and atmosphere with a painterly eye.
A documentary approach.
No staged moments, no interruptions—just the real story of your day as it unfolds. I focus on genuine emotions, fleeting glances, and the energy of the moment, creating a visual narrative that feels true to you.
A Solo Shooter with a Personal Approach
I work independently, ensuring that every frame reflects my artistic vision and attention to detail. As a solo photographer, I immerse myself fully in your wedding, blending in to document the day naturally and unobtrusively.
The Greek islands as part of your story.
The islands are more than a backdrop—they shape the atmosphere, the light, and the feeling of the day. Whether it’s Ios, Rhodes, Naxos, or beyond, I work with the surroundings to capture their essence in every frame.
A quiet, observant presence.
I don’t direct or interfere. I blend into the background, allowing you to be fully present with each other and your guests. When needed, I offer subtle guidance to help you feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera.
Unscripted moments over perfection.
The most meaningful images aren’t posed—they happen in between. A fleeting expression, a spontaneous laugh, a quiet touch. These are the moments that make your wedding unique, and these are the ones I focus on.
Timeless storytelling.
Photography should bring you back—not just to how things looked, but to how they felt. My approach is about creating honest, lasting images that will hold their meaning for years to come.
If my approach resonates with you, I’d love to hear more about your wedding plans. Let’s create something meaningful together.
Can’t wait to create unforgettable memories with you.

Photoshoot & Deliverables
(01) DURING THE WEDDING
Regarding destinations, I will arrive a day earlier to the location to scout for good places for the location portraits. At the wedding relax, enjoy and leave the rest to me! I will start by capturing the preparation and all the little details that keep your memories alive. A ceremony will follow, with group and family portraits and a location shoot with the couple. Last but not least, the most fun part, the reception, the cake cutting, the dancing and the speeches. At all times, I strive to remain unobtrusive, flexible, and open to creative opportunities as they appear.
(02) AFTER THE PHOTOSHOOT
I will deliver the edited files 4-6 weeks after the shoot day in a private gallery, protected with a password in order to share with friends and relatives; and download your edited high resolution files. All photos are professionally edited, color and exposure corrected, and polished for delivery. You will receive all edited digital images with a personal use copyright release. My belief is that a photo is not finished until it is printed. I design each album individually.
